Sometimes, it is hard to point out just one incredible talent in a sea of amazing actors/
actresses. Wentworth, in it’s sixth season, not only accomplishes the feat of rendering
every performance as top notch, and very hard to pick just one or two standouts.

In the cover photo above, we catch a glimpse of three very important figures to this new
heart-wrenching season of a show that, in this reviewers opinion, is one of the best ever
written, created, directed, produced, and acted in television/streaming history.

Need to know

If you’ve followed Wentworth through it’s first 5 seasons, you will be happy to discover
that the Joan Ferguson saga is far from over, despite her demise at the end of season 5,
which you will need to watch to find out what I am speaking of.

Much of the story surrounding the staff at Wentworth involves a continuation of the
Ferguson threat, beyond the grave. Seemingly impossible, Ferguson still somehow
haunts the staff involved in her escape and disappearance in Season 5.

Impressively backing up the Ferguson story of season 6, are the usual antics, murder,
fights, power battles, and personal relationships that develop, and take place among the
female occupants of Wentworth Correctional Facility for women.

If you don’t find yourself crying, gasping, and obsessively binge watching the entire
season in 2 to 3 days, you might want to get your heart checked to make sure you’re
still alive. Season 6, against all odds, ups the ante of seasons one through five, and
tackles several interpersonal relationship issues most of us have faced in our own lives.

Kaz, battles to keep things on the up and up, while a couple of the newest cast members
do all they can to destroy her power as ‘top dog’ of the prison. Also, love is put on the
burner, and is challenged at every twisting turn of the season.

In addition to this exciting season, we see the end of the Frankie saga, and if you watch
the first 5 seasons, you will find it difficult not to tear up at the outcome of her story.
